• Preparing for a potluck

A ministry to build community by providing fellowship opportunities in a welcoming way for all our current and future Church members, their families and guests and other Church visitors.

Our hospitality ministry intends to provide a safe, open, and user-friendly experience for those who visit us during a Sunday morning worship service or other large church gathering. We welcome everyone who walks through our doors and aim to get beyond the “Hello” to a genuine “How are you?” Our role is to make visitors feel comfortable enough to return and step deeper into the community.

We provide coffee, tea, and snacks in the Narthex during Sunday morning worship service. This provides a natural gathering place before services where we have an extended visiting time. We recognize the simple fact that lots of opportunities for conversation happen over a cup of coffee!

Once a month we do extended “food” gatherings. On the second Sunday of each month we do a Community meal gathering, often a Potluck, sometimes a BBQ, following worship.

We always welcome addition hospitality folks to help set-up, serve, and clean-up, as well as to help plug people into adult education classes, Bible studies and prayer groups, and engage in personal follow-up to help people connect to the community in meaningful ways.
